How plentiful genes do HIV enjoy?
Nine:
gag, pol, env, tat, rev, nef, vif, vpr and vpu
Kind of sad that such an incredibly simple little bastard can murder something as complex as a human being.
thousands
Millions ..
If you show the genes of this kind of virus I.m not sure roughly the number of them . but HIV has get an RNA and a reverse RNA transcriptase anzyme. when Virus enters the human body this enzyme can transcript the single strand RNa to DNA double strand and this passage of new born DNA will enter the DNA of human cell and dublicate with usual cell duplication.
I didn't have time to read aout it but you can find so various usefull info on Wikipedia in address below. hope to be usefull:)
HIV genome:adjectives retroviruses possess RNA genome, 2 ending long terminal repeat(LTR)sequence as resourcefully as gag gene, pol gene& env gene.
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus
their genes are composed of RNA (Ribonucleic Acid).
HIV has a short time ago nine genes (compared to more than 500 genes in a bacterium, and around 20,000-25,000 surrounded by a human). Three of the HIV genes, called gag, pol and env, contain information needed to generate structural proteins for new virus particle. The other six genes, known as tat, rev, nef, vif, vpr and vpu, code for proteins that control the capacity of HIV to infect a cell, produce new copies of virus, or motive disease.
At either downfall of each strand of RNA is a sequence call the long terminal repeat, which helps to control HIV replication.
