main threat is risk of respiratory depression, and it's dose related. dangerous dose depends on route of regime. 10 mg administered IV would be pretty concerning, but 10 mg oral or IM wouldn't be bad.
Yes, it depends on the route. IV doses are much lower:2-4 mg to start beside and titrate up or down. Orally, 15-30 and titrate.
As for what is dangerous: Depends as their are different tolerances from tolerant to patient. Also, you can build up a tolerance to opiate analgesics. I've see patient help yourself to doses that would kill you or me.
Now, if you want me to account a lethal dose no can do here. I've see people survive overdoses that would gun down most normal race, and it just wouldn't be a well-mannered idea giving out that variety of information over the internet.

It all depends on how much tolerance to morphine you own developed. I agree with the things that other individuals have said. However, in that is no maximum limit to morphine. You can rob as much of it as your body can handle. I own seen ancestors take outrageous amounts of morphine and still be in niggle. It's all relative.
