How long does tramadol stay within your system??
Tramadol is not a narcotic and will not show up in standard urine drug screen for drugs of abuse.
The partially life of tramadol is 5.1 hours. After six partially lives, more than 98 percent will be gone, so after 30.6 hours, less than two percent will be moved out.
Please note that most drugs are metabolized by the body and the metabolites may hold much longer half lives than the drug itself and can be detected. As an example, nicotine have a half life span of two hours. It is metabolized into cotinine, which can be detected about a week after exposure.
